finished 08.01.2013, MyPaint and GIMP

muszę przyznać, że bardzo podoba mi się MyPaint. praktycznie cały rysunek wykonałam w tym programie, GIMPu użyłam tylko do dodania tekstury i obcięcia obrazu.
dla odmiany ten obraz ma dłuższą historię.
otóż miewam często dziwne sny. jak większość, niewiele z nich potem pamiętam, jeśli w ogóle. ale zdarzają się wyjątki. w jednym z tych wyjątków, w połowie października, przyśnił mi się bardzo podobny rysunek... a dokładniej przyśnił mi się chłopak z obcej rasy, który próbując mi wyjaśnić, jak ich gatunek widzi, pokazywał mi swoje szkice. dwa z nich zrobiły ma mnie tak piorunujące wrażenie, że zapamiętałam je po przebudzeniu. ten obraz to próba skopiowania jednego z nich. nie dość dokładna, oczywiście. większość narysowałam w przeciągu tygodnia po śnie, dzisiaj tylko wykańczałam.
podobno sny są często zlepkami obrazów, które już się gdzieś widziało, niewykluczone więc, że istnieje gdzieś podobny obraz. jeśli ktoś go widział, poproszę o info.


i must admit i like MyPaint. i painted almost everything in it, in GIMP i only added texture and cropped it.
this one, for a change, has some story behind it.
i often have weird dreams. like most people, i don't remember much of them after waking up, if anything at all. but there are exceptions. in one of those exceptions, in the middle of October, i dreamt about a similar painting... more precisely, i dreamed of a boy of a different species, who showed me his sketches while trying to explain to me how his species see the world. two of them made such a strong impression on me i remembered them after waking up. this painting is an attempt to copy one of them. not enough accurate, i think. i made most of it in the first week after dreaming it, today i was only touching up details.
it's said dreams are like collages of things we've seen somewhere recently before a dream, so it's possible there exist a similar painting. if someone can point it out to me i'd appreciate any info.
